What health topics are discussed during the health seminars/workshops?
At Dr. Harrison’s Center of Functional Medicine (CFM), we are continuously introducing new content with new educational topics. How long does the Exam/Report of Findings (ROF) take?
The majority of my clients have a very complex medical and health history which requires ample time. As a result, I set aside a full hour for the Examination and ROF appointment.
I need your help and want to be accepted into your program, but I do not live in your state or country. Is there anything that can be done?
Due to the age of technology, we have been able to take many clients from out of state and country. Acceptance of your enrollment in the “remote program” will be determined on a case-by-case bases. Determining factors will include the severity of your health condition, the requirement for a comprehensive examination as well as your previous health and medical history. I am currently taking many different medications and due to their dangerous side effects I want to get off them; can you help me do this?
This is a very common question I receive from applicants to the program. I cannot advise you to discontinue taking any of your prescribed medications – as I am not the prescribing physician. However; I have had many clients who’s health has significantly improved to the extent where I have assisted in working with the prescribing physician to recommend re-assessing the need for prescribed medications. In many cases, the prescribing physicians have reduced or eliminated medications completely. Again, this is exclusively up to the discretion of you and your prescribing doctor.
I am concerned about staying on track and having enough self discipline. Is your program difficult?
I always ask this question to my clients who have been through the program. Nine times out of ten their response is “It was much easier than I expected.”
Does CFM take insurance?
Due to the comprehensive nature of the program, insurance does not cover this care.
